DRIVER DISPLAY UNIT – NS1201

The Driver Display unit uses TFT 10.4” LCD display. This system is used as a man machine interface for the locomotive. This system is basically designed for Indian railways 3-Ø locomotive (i.e. WAG-9, WAP-5, and WAG-9 H, WAP-7). DDU is panel mount system consist of 10.4” LCD touch screen TFT display. Various fault messages related to locomotive malfunctioning are displayed into context sensitive screens (i.e pop-screen) to get the driver’s attention towards it and all these faults are logged into the memory along with status of devices involved. USB port has been provided for Data logging and getting the history of faults.

This system retains all the features of existing Diagnostic terminal used in the locomotive as well as provides the pictorial representation of different process variable involved in locomotive control system by scrolling predefined pictorial windows using functional keys.

This system consists of RS – 422 as well as MVB interfacing port.
